COMMUNITY CONSULTATIONS: HERE

In addition to identifying ‘ōlelo from Mary Kawena Pukui's ‘Ōlelo No‘eau: Hawaiian Proverbs and Poetical Sayings in partnership with Hale Hō‘ike‘ike at the Bailey House/ Maui Historical Society (MHS) that helps to anchor an artwork, each ST*BA artist is required to address Wailuku's distinct sense of place, history, and/or culture in a piece created through community consultations and storytelling. This is all part of the Project Development process described within each ST*BA application.
