COMMUNITY CONSULTATIONS:

In addition to identifying ‘ōlelo from Mary Kawena Pukui's ‘Ōlelo No‘eau: Hawaiian Proverbs and Poetical Sayings to help anchor each artwork, ST*BA artists are required to address Wailuku's distinctive sense of place, history, and/or culture in a piece created through community consultations and storytelling.
